Set of four classes starting on May 07/2024. This course will focus on the basic skills of wheel throwing—centering, opening, and pulling clay into shape—followed by learning to form bowls, cylinders, and cups. Students will also learn to evaluate form and how form serves a vessel’s function.

About the course
Class 1. May 07 - Centering and making consistent cylinders (at least 3)
Class 2. May 14 - Trimming and making handles or spouts for your piece (you will learn how to make different handle styles).
Class 3. May 21 - Adding details like handles or spouts to your piece
Class 4. May 28 - Glazing your piece
